Before the application:
Fully exfoliate your whole body (especially feet, elbows & dry areas) either the day before your tan, or the morning. Avoid moisturising exfoliants.
Before your tan, do not apply moisturiser, deodorant, perfume or makeup.
If possible, wear nail polish on toes & fingers - clear is okay!
What to bring with you:
Best to leave jewellery at home. You have to remove it before your tan.
Wear loose dark clothing. It's best not to wear a bra after the tan. Note: the tan dries in minutes - but tight clothes can rub on areas, leaving it patchy.
Wear thongs or loose sandals. ... tight shoes and socks can leave their mark.
We will provide you with disposable knickers - or you can bring your own.
What to do after your tan:
Do not shower or exercise for 8 hours, preferably not until the nexy day.
Do not apply perfume, moisturiser or deodorant for 8 hours
After 8 hours - use PLENTY of moisturiser - morning & night!
When you shower - avoid soap... use soap free, moisturising washes.
Avoid swimming and baths for long periods.
Use sunscreen when out in the sun. Fake tan has no SPF.
The tan will have an instant 'bronzer'
to give you an immediate glow. The tan will continue to develop over 8
hours, into a luscious golden brown. These 'developing' ingredients
work on your melanocytes... so it will look completely natural.
